Sundland Village East Foundation's Accomplishments for 2025
1. The Foundation had its first motorcycle donation! A long-time SVE resident, Bob Putz, gave us his motorcycle so that we can give back to the community. According to Bob, the transaction with the Arizona Humane Society (whom we partner with for vehicle donations) was very easy and seamless.
2. The Foundation has a new Executive Director! Dawn Milburn.
3. The Foundation funded a presentation in the SVE Auditorium on March 5th by Dr. Laura Tohe, on the WW II Navajo Codetalkers. Dr. Tohe is the daughter of one of the codetalkers.

4. The Foundation sponsored the second Tour of Remodeled Homes on March 23rd. About 92 people attended, and toured the 11 homes. Many thanks to the 11 home owners who allowed people to tour their homes!
Bill, Dawn, Colleen, Dorothy, and Cindy handed out maps and registrations packets to about 92 people who signed up for the tour of remodeled homes in SVE.
The Vision
It was always my dream to establish a Sunland Village East Foundation to encourage and facilitate opportunities for SVE residents to make tax-deductible donations. It was the right thing to do; to enhance SVE, to help local charities, and to provide tax-deduction opportunities not otherwise available.
